At Boulder House, kids can climb, jump, laugh, and problem solve their way up colourful walls in a safe, supportive environment. Every climb is a little puzzle, and every send is a confidence boost. It’s an awesome way for kids to build strength, balance, focus, and resilience, without even realising they are exercising.
Whether they’re tiny explorers or confident teen crushers, there’s something for everyone.

How kids climb safely
We take safety seriously, so everyone can focus on having fun.
Our gym has three areas:
Climbing Walls, Fitness & Training Area, and the Boulder Kids Area.
Different age groups use different spaces, with clear supervision rules to keep things safe and stress-free.
What to wear?
Wear whatever makes you feel comfy and ready to move. Most people go for activewear like leggings, shorts, trackies, and a fitted top.
- Socks are a must if you’re hiring climbing shoes.
- Shirts on, please (singlets are totally fine).
- Spiderman outfit? We fully support that too. 😄

What Parents Need to Know
- All under 18s must have their Waiver signed by a parent or guardian
- Supervision ratios are always followed for safety
- Friendly staff are on hand to help, guide, and answer questions
- Kids can hire climbing shoes, just bring socks!

Before you climb, please read this together with your grown up. These rules help keep everyone safe and having fun:
Look After Yourself
Always climb down when you can. Jumping is risky.
Watch where you put your hands and feet.
Tell a staff member if something feels broken or unsafe.

Look After Others
Check that no one is under you before you move.
Do not climb over the top of someone or walk under them.
Keep the soft mats clear so people can land safely.
Share the space and take turns on busy climbs.

Look After the Gym
Keep your shoes clean and wear them on the wall.
Put your bags and things in the cubbies, not on the mats.
No running or rough play.
Food and drinks stay off the mats.

Stay Close to Your Grown Up
Your adult must be watching you at all times.
If you are under 5, your grown up must stay within arm’s reach.
Listen to your grown up or staff member if they ask you to stop or move.

Be Kind
Use kind words.
Cheer for your friends.
Ask for help if you need it.
